I’ve always thought of Uncle Fred as a gentle giant grateful like a big teddy bear. He wasn’t just the kindest man I’ve ever known; he had a way of showing genuine interest in your life, making you feel truly seen. His laugh was infectious, the kind that could light up a room and put anyone at ease. He taught me the importance of gratitude and how to be content with what I have. Uncle Fred will be deeply missed, but the warmth, laughter, and wisdom he brought to our lives will remain with us forever.

I am I and you are you, whatever we were to each other that we still are.
Speak to me in the easy way which you always used.
Why should I be out of mind because I am out of sight?
Life means all that it ever meant, it is the same as it ever was.
